ProfileBundle for Google Meet & Calendar — End-User Documentation

ProfileBundle integrates with Google Calendar & Google Meet via OAuth 2.0 so creators and consultants can automatically generate a unique Google Meet video link and send calendar invitations whenever a client books a 1:1 consultation.

Overview & Prerequisites

The ProfileBundle Google Meet Integration connects your Google account to your ProfileBundle creator storefront. When a buyer books a 1:1 session, ProfileBundle creates a scheduled event on your primary Google Calendar with an embedded Google Meet conference link (conferenceData.createRequest) and delivers the join link to both you and your client.

Prerequisites

  • An active ProfileBundle Creator account (Sign in or Register).
  • A standard Google / Gmail account or a Google Workspace account with Google Calendar & Google Meet enabled.

OAuth Scopes Requested

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.email — Identifies which Google account is connected in your dashboard.
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events — Creates the scheduled 1:1 consultation calendar event with an auto-generated Google Meet video link when a client books a session.
Section 1

Connecting Google Meet (Setup & Authorization)

  1. Sign in to your ProfileBundle Creator Dashboard at https://profilebundle.com/auth.
  2. In the left sidebar, click 1:1 Bookings (/consultations) or open the product editor (/add-product?type=consultation) and select Google Meet as the meeting platform.
  3. Locate the Connect Google Meet for automatic meetings card at the top of the page and click the green Connect Google Meet button.
  4. You will be redirected to Google's official OAuth 2.0 consent screen (accounts.google.com). Choose the Google account you want to use to host 1:1 consultations and click Continue / Allow to grant calendar event creation access.
  5. Google redirects you back to https://profilebundle.com/consultations?gmeet=connected. The card will display a green Google Meet connected badge showing your connected Google email address and an Auto Meet + Calendar invite badge.

Using the Integration (1:1 Consultations & Auto-Created Meet Links)

2.1 Creating a Google Meet 1:1 Consultation Product

  1. From 1:1 Bookings, click + Create Consultation.
  2. Enter your consultation title, description, and price (paid or free ₹0 session).
  3. Under Meeting Platform, select Google Meet and choose your session duration (15, 30, 45, 60, 90, or 120 minutes).
  4. Configure your weekly availability schedule, buffer time between calls, and minimum advance notice, then click Publish Product.

2.2 What Happens When a Client Books a Session

  • Automatic Google Calendar Event & Meet Room: Immediately upon booking confirmation, ProfileBundle calls POST https://www.googleapis.com/calendar/v3/calendars/primary/events?conferenceDataVersion=1 on your connected Google account to create a calendar event with a unique https://meet.google.com/... video link.
  • Automatic Calendar Invitation & Email Delivery: Both you (the creator) and the buyer receive the Google Calendar invitation and ProfileBundle confirmation email containing the scheduled date/time (IST), `.ics` attachment, and the 1-click Join Meeting link.
  • Resilient Fallback: If Google Calendar is ever temporarily unreachable, ProfileBundle automatically uses your optional backup Meet link (or generates a private browser video room) so a confirmed client booking never fails.
Section 3
